CANNON FALLS, Minn., October 1, 2024 –Maybe you consider yourself a sharpshooter, but do you have what it takes to go pro? Find out at the Gemstar Manufacturing booth #7205 at the 2024 Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting.
Gemstar Manufacturing will introduce the company’s first brand ambassador, one of the world’s most dominant professional shooters, Max Michel, at the conference.
Michel’s debut will involve an immersive experience with Ace, a virtual shooting simulator, where attendees can try their hand at beating Michel’s high score. Through this immersive experience, attendees can find out once and for all if they have what it takes to brush shoulders with a pro. Attendees can see how they compare to others at the conference and even compete for a chance to win a free Ace handset, Virtual Reality (VR) headset, and a one-year Ace membership, all in a custom Gemstar case.
Max Michel is a seven-time World Speed Shooting Champion, United States Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU) Veteran, Guinness World Record holder, Captain of the SIG SAUER Shooting Team, and victor of more than 300 major championships. He is the only competitor to win the Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championships (WSSC) four times in a row, though he holds seven WSSC titles in total.
“I’m thrilled to partner with Gemstar, not just for their exceptional cases, but because they share my relentless passion for excellence. Like me, they never settle and always push the boundaries of performance,” said Michel. “I’m proud to partner with Gemstar for so many reasons — quality, design, durability — but what really means the most to me is the awesome people behind the product and that they trust in me to promote their message in the firearms industry.”
The partnership was born out of Michel’s need for a custom gun case. Working closely with Shark-Co, a Gemstar authorized distributor, Michel chose a custom, injection-molded Sentinel™ case by Gemstar for the job, and the rest is history. Cases by Gemstar are watertight, airtight, lightweight, military-grade certified, and fully customizable, just a few of the reasons why Michel trusts Gemstar to protect his equipment.
“We couldn’t be prouder to have Max Michel as a brand ambassador for Gemstar,” said Mark Hedin, President of Operations at Gemstar. “He is at the top of his craft and represents everything that Gemstar values: precision, cutting-edge work, and grit. It doesn’t get better than that.”
Ace is a virtual reality shooting experience that offers skill-building, fun, and competition to enthusiasts around the globe. Combining a VR app with more than a hundred shooting stages and a realistic physical handset, it makes dry-fire training convenient and enjoyable.
